Earth in Disasters

Catastrophes, Unfortunate occurrences, emergencies and crises have an effect on almost all of the people, disrupting health-related facilities programs and essential services, and slowing the procedure for means of sustainable human development. From many ranges of natural hazards due to geographic reasons, Pakistan is marked as very vulnerable to disasters risks by experts.

After seeing the previous twelve to fifteen years of Pakistan’s History,  it would not be wrong to state that the natural and man made disasters namely occurred due to  internal turmoil, 2005 earthquake and  floods during the previous decade have impacted the stuck in country’s development and thus cause a severe damage to the infrastructure, human lives and overall the livelihoods of Pakistani people.

  1. Islamabad (Position/Site)

14 km northeast of Rawalpindi on the northeastern edge of the of the province of Punjab. The location of Islamabad is 906. 50 sq. km. An additional 3626 block km area is known as the Specified Region with the Margala Hillsides/ Inclines in the north and northeast.

  1. Climate

Islamabad features an atypical version of any humid subtropical weather/environment or climate, with hot, humid, high seasons along with a monsoon season adopted by cool winters.
